Frequently Asked Questions
Hormonal Balancing
â—“ What happens at the initial consultation?
During your initial consultation, which lasts up to 90 minutes, we take a deep dive into your health history, symptoms, and lifestyle. This is your time to share your story, and we’ll listen carefully to understand your unique needs and concerns. We’ll discuss the next steps for testing and create a personalized plan that may include hormone testing, food sensitivity analysis, or other functional medicine assessments. We often begin implementing aspects of your care plan right away, including nutrition tracking, supplements and peptides, and lifestyle recommendations such as stress management techniques to start addressing your goals. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and support you need to feel better and regain balance.
â—“ Do you accept insurance?
Bilgrien Health does not accept insurance and uses a pay-per-service model. Payments is due at the end of each appointment. Payment options include HSA, debit, credit card, check, cash, or Venmo. The Fee Schedule can be viewed here. You will receive a Superbill after each appointment. A superbill is a receipt provided after your appointment, detailing the services you received. For cash-only services, you can submit it to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.
â—“ What type of testing do you do?
We take the time to listen to your health concerns and consider your budget to select the most appropriate tests for your needs. Our testing options include traditional blood tests through the lab of your choice, as well as convenient mail-order kits for fingerstick blood, urine, saliva, DUTCH, OOVA, food sensitivity, organic acids, stool testing, and more. Each test is carefully chosen to provide the most accurate and relevant insights into your health.
